Scout service opportunity, December 7th

The Friends of East Cobb Park Holiday Lights event is Sunday, December 7 from 5-8 PM.

There’s a need for 50 or so Boy Scouts to provide light and guidance on the very dark paths between Fuller’s Park (where many attendees will park) and East Cobb Park. It’s a great opportunity to serve our community. Boy Scouts have provided this service for the past several years and it’s always fun! We’ll gather up at the gym all the way at the back of Fuller’s Park (3499 Robinson Rd.). It would be ideal to have some scouts come at 4:45 PM to guide folks as they arrive, and some scouts to come later at 7:00 PM to help people as they leave. Please wear Class A uniforms, proper shoes, and flashlights.

We’ll be finished by 8:30 PM. There is no need to register, just show up.
