If there are two or three Scouts wanting to complete the requirement 8 of the Eagle-required Communications MB (plan/prepare/present a campfire program), there is an opportunity on Saturday, March 21st, during the Spring Camporee at Bert Adams.
The O/A committee planning the Camporee needs volunteers to plan/lead the campfire on Saturday evening. You do not have to be a current O/A member in order to plan/lead the campfire (the O/A tapout is separate and will be following the campfire program). If you and a buddy are interested, please contact Mr. Moultrie by the end of the meeting on Monday (that would leave you almost three weeks to prepare). You would be responsible for planning the campfire program, coordinating skit submissions by other troop, building/lighting the campfire, etc.
