The Life-to-Eagle advancement process can be daunting at first glance. Troop 714 supports our scouts in this stage of their Eagle trail by offering every Life scout an opportunity for a Life-to-Eagle conference. If you are a Life rank scout, please contact the Scoutmaster to schedule your Life-to-Eagle conference.

  • Troop 714 – Life To Eagle Quick Reference Guide Troop 714 has summarized this information in a 2-page Life to Eagle handout. This document has been updated to the new standards and contains useful information.

  • Age Guidelines for Tool Use and Work at Elevations or Excavations. This document contains rules for age appropriateness of various tools.
  • Eagle Project Planning Workbook This link provides a downloadable document to plan Eagle service projects. It does not change any requirements for Eagle, but is useful in planning safety aspects of Scout service projects.

  • Navigating the Eagle Scout Service Project You must provide this document to your contact at the benefitting organization. It tells them what they need to know about the process of working with a Scout developing an Eagle project. [This is a new requirement as of June 2014.]
