“Spring” backpacking on AT NC/GA – Bly Gap

At close to 5000′, the Appalachian Trail in North Carolina is still closer to winter than to spring. This weekend 16 Scouts and adults from T-714 braved the cold temperatures, ice, water, rocks, and steepness to hike the most remote section of the AT in Georgia.
