Aquatics Weekend Event Flyer Posted!

Come to Aquatics Weekend from June 19th – 21st!

Sign up for Merit Badges now before they fill up!

Sign up at the March 23rd Troop Meeting.  Payment is required in order to reserve your spot. The following Merit Badges are available:

1. Swimming – $18
2. Rowing – $18
3. Canoeing – $18
4. Small Boat Sailing – $20
5. Fishing – $TBD

Camp Allatoona is located in Cherokee County on Lake Allatoona.  It is a great property devoted to aquatics activities for Boy Scouts and is run by the Atlanta Area Council. Troop 714 will camp at Camp Allatoona on the shore 2 nights while scouts will have the opportunity to earn Merit Badges on Saturday.  Here are some other activities during the weekend:

1. Patrol vs. Patrol Fishing competition
2. Campfire Program/Skits
3. Sunday Morning Orienteering Course
4. Fishing

 If you want to get an aquatics Merit Badge done this summer, remember that Lake Allatoona is much warmer than the lake at Camp Daniel Boone.
