Attention all SCOUTS! (Also any ASMs and ADULT LEADERS that sign off any advancement requirements.)
There are changes coming to the Advancement requirements for almost all ranks, so the changes will affect almost all SCOUTS!
The first change is effective on January 1, 2016 and is that the “Scout Patch”, or “joining requirements”, will become a “real” Scout Rank and will be the 1st Rank that a Scout earns.
The rest of the changes will be phased in during 2016, so be sure to read the “Guide to Advancement Updates for 2016”, which includes links to the FAQs on the National website.

Remember that there WILL be changes, but don’t be afraid of change. Change should be embraced as improvements are always the result of change.
