This is an easy and fun backpacking trip starting with Friday night in a front country camp to make sure gear is all worked out. On Saturday, we backpack about 5-miles to camp in a backcountry site at Pine Mountain State Park. Beautiful waterfalls and Georgia mountain scenery are included for free! On Sunday we hike out about 2.5 miles and then stop at Three Little Pigs BBQ in Pine Mountain for an early lunch before we head back to Davis Elementary.
All scouts who have not been backpacking with Troop 714 need to attend this checkout so you can go on future backpacking trips!

Cost: TBD ($10-15) based on the number of people attending . Remember to bring your own food (2 hot breakfasts, 1 trail lunch and 1 dinner) for the backpack trip.
