In addition to the great progress and the information on platelet donation information previously posted, Rick McNealy has also figured out the process for donation of whole blood (type: O-) to Genea:
We finally have a means set up for people with O Neg blood to make a direct donation for Genea. Donations must be made through Atlanta Blood Services at one of their two locations. Donors must call Nekori Skinner at 404-459-8744 to set up an appointment and tell her it is for Genea McNealy.
(The physical locations, web site, e-mail, etc., for whole blood donations are the same as for platelet collection.)
