Join Scouting!

In the Scout Zone!

The mission of the Boy Scouts of America is to prepare young people to make ethical and moral choices over their lifetimes by instilling in them the values of the Scout Oath and Law. Scouting is also about FUN. Scouting is fun with a purpose. Boys don’t join or continue in the Scouting program just for the values — they are there to have fun with their friends at meetings and in the great outdoors.

If you as an individual, or as part of a Webelos Cub Scout Den, would like to join Scouting, this is a great place to start! Troop 714 would welcome the opportunity to meet parents and future Boy Scouts. Click HERE to contact us to setup an opportunity to visit. While you are visiting, we’ll have Troop Guides (older, experience Scouts) present Troop 714 to your son by the “show and do” method. We’ll also have an experienced adult Scouter (leader) meet with the parents or guardians of the future Scout and explain Scouting from the adult perspective.

In the meantime, please explore this site to learn a bit more about Troop 714 and Scouting. In particular, look at the Scrapbook and Calendar pages to learn more about the fun that Scouts (and adults!) have in Troop 714. You can contact us directly with the links below:
