Some of you have already called with a question about wanting to make sure that your platelet donation directly goes to help patients at the Blood and Marrow Transplant Group at Northside Hospital. All of the platelets collected by Atlanta Blood Services go directly to ensuring a sufficient platelet supply for the patients being treated at the Blood and Marrow Transplant Group at Northside Hospital. Of course you can donate with another agency, but unfortunately only through donating with us will you ensure your platelet donation goes directly to Northside Hospital. Please remember when you call to schedule an appointment; please let us know that you are donating on Genea’s behalf. This will help to offset the McNealy’s parking cost at the hospital during treatment.
