A Scout is Reverent.
The Scout Sabbath & Scout Sunday are coming up in February.
One way we show that we are reverent as a troop is by attending a Scout Sabbath at a local synagogue, and Scout Sunday at Mountain View UMC, our charter organization.
The Scout Sabbath is on Friday, February 7th. Come and show respect to our Jewish scouts. We will assemble at 7:35 PM at Temple Kol Emeth, 1415 Old Canton Rd, Marietta, 30066.
Scout Sunday is on Sunday, February 9th. Come and show respect to our Christian scouts. We will assemble in the lobby of Mountain View UMC at 10:40 AM. The service will start at 11:00 AM and end at noon. If any scouts are interested in helping at an earlier service (in addition to 11:00 AM) contact Mr. Moultrie. Please bring peanut butter and boxes of cereal to donate to MUST Ministries.
It is important for as many scouts as possible to come to both of these events.
